Zephyr Energy PLC is a technology led, responsible oil and gas producing company. The company is based in London, England with operational acreage in the Paradox basin and non-operated acreage in the Williston basin of the United States.
Zephyr is a carbon neutral and cash generative onshore US oil and gas company.

As part of the team supporting Zephyr's website, I help maintain and enhance the site through ongoing updates, ensuring it remains current, user-friendly, and aligned with industry best practices.

As the company continues to grow, I support the development of presentations, reports, and other communications, ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and aligned with the company's design system and brand guidelines.
In this role, I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Finance, Operations, Public Relations, Legal, and Land Management—to transform complex information into clear, cohesive, and visually engaging communications.

As the company's resident photographer, I have the opportunity to visit our operational site just north of Moab, Utah, where I document our processes and equipment while capturing the striking landscape that surrounds our work.

Examples of presentation slides I designed, incorporating custom maps to visualize and communicate operational activities.
I contributed to the photography and layout design of the 2023 annual report by providing original photographs, assisting with designing page composition, and maintaining visual consistency throughout the publication.
As a UX/UI designer, I prioritize creating designs that are both visually engaging and accessible. While reviewing Zephyr's marketing and communication materials, I noticed that several text and background color combinations did not provide sufficient contrast, reducing readability and accessibility.
To address this, I used Coolors' Color Contrast Checker alongside Figma to evaluate existing color pairings and develop accessible alternatives.
I proposed updated color combinations for the company's style guide and design system, balancing brand consistency with improved readability and compliance with accessibility best practices.

Photography
As a responsible resource developer, environmental stewardship is central to our approach. Rather than emphasizing production equipment and materials, our visual design highlights landscapes and natural textures, creating a strong connection to the environment while complementing the information presented throughout our resources.
